We have new stuff planned , along with group rides , club poker runs, door prizes and another one of those bar -b q parties. Thanks to all of our Brothers and Sisters for coming to Florida to celebrate our 2009 National gathering of the WPMC. We had a great time hosting the event and look forward to Oklahoma City next year. We hope all of you have arrive home safely. Raul my brother- that was quite the crash on I-4- the Big Motor Man upstairs must have been watching over you with his road guards. Heal quickly, your bike should be crated and on it’s way home to California in no time. The Vann Streety benefit was a huge success! Combined we raised approximately $6,000 for his family. Captain our brother from Penn York- may the road be kind and generous- may your skill always remain sharp as evidenced by your willingness to tackle those intersections. Chicago North and South- thanks for the memories. Tennessee see y’all in the mountains! Central Mass- the local economy thanks you for singlehandedly bailing out the bar business in Central Florida! Ride Safe everyone- see you soon!
This is late in coming but after my accident on Hwy 4 in Orlando, Fl I had way to many other things going on in my life.
First of all, I want to thank all of the members of our Central Florida Chapter for the reception that we received and the great events that they provided. We had a great time and many memories and friendships from this vacation. First time to Florida and I fell in love with it. Due to my accident my vacation was cut way too short. Flying back home in a wheel chair was not the happiest moment for us. I have healed up pretty well, they tell me that the scars give character to my face and that I am now better looking than before.
Thanks to Tom and Ernie who helped me get my bike and personal property back to Calif. Turns out that the frame was totaled, had to order a new frame and it just arrived after all this time. I am in the process of changing everything over to the new frame.
Good thing that I have a 2nd Harley to ride on the days that I don’t want to work.
Once again, thanks to all of you guys/gals that hosted this event and that helped us out after the accident.
